Our sound engineer, or as we like to to say, our architect, is D.J. Kruzer. From the early years of live sound and recording experience, starting in 1994, D.J. went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Communication with the focus of Video and Audio Production. 

With over 20 years of experience in the production industry, we have established ourselves as a leader in the small-format field. We have worked with a wide range of clients, from independent musicians to major record labels, and nearly every kind of instrument out there, from bagpipes to violins to didgeridoos.

At KSD Studios, we believe that great sound is essential to any successful media project. That's why we take a collaborative approach to every project we work on, working closely with our clients to make sure their vision is realized, and their ears are elated with their finished masterpieces.

We offer a range of sound production services to clients around the world. We are currently focused on remote recording, mixing, and post-production. We can produce a finished voiceover track, record and produce your podcasts, or master your new album, as a few examples. Our experienced professionals have the skills and expertise to provide a superior finished product for your next project.

For clients and venues local to the Charlotte, NC area, we offer customized live sound consultation services. We love providing audio "tune-ups" to audio/video facilities such as schools and churches to improve live mixes. 

We also offer studio build-out consultations to help your audio or video studio sound and look it's best. We use and recommend proven brands, products, and suppliers to achieve professional results for any budget.
